Land Movement Coverage

This is a specialty endorsement available on a Homeowners Policy or a separately written policy by some insurance carriers.  It extends coverage for loss due to land movement.  "Land Movement" is defined as:  landslide, mudflow, sinking, rising or shifting of earth or soil.  It is similar to the Earthquake endorsement available on the Homeowners and Dwelling Program.  This endorsement contains a percentage deductible (normally 10%) of the coverage amounts.  The deductible applies separately to Coverage A (Dwelling), Coverage B (Other Structures) and Coverage C (Personal Property).
